Hope Springs Eternal proposes 125 pages of original content for the Daggerheart TTRPG, written and illustrated by a team of passionate individuals (no AI!). Each of its five campaign frames is complemented by a location (with landmarks, settlements, NPCs, factions, rumors, adversaries, environments, loot) easily usable in any campaign or setting. Writing by Alexandra Wimberley and Graham M. Payne. Editing, design, layout and additional writing by Eric Lazure. Overview of the frames and locations

• Gutterpunk Rhapsody is a dynamic and gritty frame set in a dystopian tower-city where a gang of punks must look out for each other as they take matters into their own hands, braving impossible odds to become a beacon amidst pollution and corruption. Explore the Tower if you want to make life better for those in the Guts, if you are not afraid of the strange Junker’s Wilds or the unholy Stygian Depths, or if you want to overthrow those in Alabaster always looking down on everyone else.
• The Final Curtain is inspired by caregivers who tend to a loved one during their physical and mental decline. In it, players will accompany a venerated but ailing hero as they embark on their final adventure. Choose this frame if you want an emotional campaign exploring themes of atonement, serenity, trauma, and remorse. Brave the Jagged Domain if you seek to confront difficult questions about the past, but also about the future and the inevitable destination we must all one day reach.
• In the Ever Rime, the last settlements endure the frozen landscape by clinging to gigantic beasts. As Shepherds, guide these beasts to sites of natural magic where the spell that maintains them can be renewed. Play the Ever Rime if you want to help your people survive an unforgiving world ever testing your endurance and values. Travel to Fairreach to find life and hope beneath the snow, to help your people prosper despite the harsh conditions.
• In a Poisoned Roots campaign, PCs will face a ruling class intent on uprooting a growing resistance. They will have to make hard choices, possibly sacrificing what they hold dear to defend their neighbors and the greater good. This frame promises an intense, claustrophobic, political, and personal campaign where combat and adventuring will not be the main focus. Visit the Gardens to see how beauty and cruelty can coexist, and to find a way to make the former triumph over the latter.

• The Eternal Song is a hopeful and contemplative frame where adventurers brave dangers while exploring the importance of culture, for both societies and individuals. Choose it if you want an uplifting campaign focusing on accomplishing deeds worthy of song while trying to understand and help various communities.
